Let’s Get Inky!

Printmaking comes from a long tradition of collaboration so at IS Projects we strive to bring together like minded artists to encourage and support each other while building a creative community in which these artists can flourish.

We love to share our knowledge through classes, assisted studio rental and residencies. We offer classes and training in letterpress, screen printing, book binding, relief printing, intaglio printing, shibori dyeing and much more!

Ready to get inky?

Hourly Studio Rental

We are a public-access printmaking studio which means that we don't want to just keep all of this equipment to ourselves, we want to share our resources with like-minded local artists and printmakers. Through studio rental you can access our vast collection of antique wood and lead type, antique letterpress printing presses, screen printing and book binding facilities as well as our two large format etching presses!

All you need to do is let us know what day you would like to come in about a week in advance and what you would like to work on. Studio rental is based on availability in the shop so please have a couple of dates in mind.

Internships

IS Projects is currently seeking motivated, passionate, detail oriented, individuals for our internship program. Interns should have a strong interest in fine art printmaking, letterpress, or book arts.

Interns will assist with classes, fine art editioning, commercial letterpress jobs, book arts projects and production.

Interns are expected to work steadily over the internship period and assist with select special events.

Interns can expect to leave ISP with an understanding of letterpress printing, relief printing and book-binding as well as behind the scenes knowledge of a grassroots arts organization, new professional connections, and a passion to continue their fine art career.
